After recently parting ways with Don Corleon, Alaine is now part of the Solid Agency camp.
When contacted yesterday, Sharon Burke of Solid Agency said Alaine has been part of the company for about two months. The company now does her bookings, administration and publicist work.
So far, Burke said the working relationship with the singer has been good.
"She′s very good, on time and good to work with," she told THE WEEKEND STAR.
Already, Burke said there are several things lined up for Alaine in January, like Shaggy and Friends and Sean Kingston in Concert at the Cable and Wireless Golf Academy in New Kingston that is being hosted by Coca-Cola (Coke Zero). The concert will also feature other artistes, like D′Angel, Serani, Chino, Elephant Man, Tifa, Tessanne Chin, QQ, G-Whizz, Demarco, Voicemail and Ding Dong. Alaine also has some other pending overseas engagements.
Yet, "I don′t want to overexpose her to the market," Burke said, while indicating that Alaine had been doing a lot of recordings.
Back in September, Alaine parted ways with Don Corleon after a four- year working relationship. With Corleon, she achieved her first breakthrough hit, No Ordinary Love, and followed up with songs, such as Heavenly and Never Done. Through Don Corleon Records, Alaine released her 2008 album called Sacrifice and in August of this year, her second album, Luv-A-Dub was released in Japan.
Since splitting from Corleon, Alaine has been getting quite a bit of rotation for her collaboration with Chino called Secret Lover. The song has also had tongues wagging about whether there was an intimate relationship between the two.
